Shark Attack is: Marc Borde (Vocals/Guitar/Keys), Ryan Beard (Vocals/ Guitar), Eric Campbell (Drums), Wes Hicks (Bass)

Shark Attack is a Galveston – based reggae band with a sound that can be described as “Reggae with Bite”. Their smooth island style roots/dub is peppered with aggressive vocals filled with harmonies and sing-along style hooks that gets their fans in a frenzy. Shark Attacks down-to-earth personalities and on stage antics, keep the band/crowd interaction personal and entertaining regardless of the venue.

Over the past 10 years, Shark Attack has released 2 full length albums, 2 EP’s, and has been featured on various mixtapes and compilation CD’s. The bands music has also been featured on various surf films, and movies, including “Bad Trip” (Lions Gate Entertainment) with Coolio and Bone Thugs in Harmony. Shark Attack has performed live throughout the USA and has toured regionally with the Bob Marley Festival, been on multiple national tours, and have played repeatedly with well known touring acts such as: Culture, Pepper, Slightly Stoopid, Long Beach Short Bus, The Wailers, Yellow Man, and UB40, just to name a few.

Shark Attack has built a substantial buzz by way of their live shows, and music releases, especially with TheBeeRoom’s latest releases including “TheBeeRoom Mixtape Vol. 1” and “Outlaws & Egos.” Most of their newest material has been recorded live at various venues in Texas, and they will be releasing a live album and DVD in 2011. When Shark Attack is not touring, they are constantly writing new songs and recording, often collaborating with other artists, and releasing songs and video on the web for free.
